8月27日 Bank holidayBank holiday....yipeeeeee!
Weather is a bit dissapointing though. Still, I finish work on Friday for two weeks and I can't wait. I am just putting some time in now while hubby checks all the wiring on his outside lights....I think the mice have been at them!!
Going to go for a run out in the car and maybe for a spot of lunch!!....again! 8月26日 Lovely, lovely day....again!!Another lovely day....this is great!
We went somewhere lovely for sunday lunch, then just relaxed in the garden with the sunday papers...bliss!, (god don't I sound boring!)
I say relaxing, poor hubby has been busy staining the decking, he is still out there at it...bless! He really is a good lad. I was telling his family last night what a good husband he is and how well he treats me.....and he only took 27 years to train!....only joking, but really most men get better with age...they know how to treat a woman!
Might have another barbeque tonight, can't decide, we are still stuffed from that lovely meal we had earlier. Meal outWe've just came home from a lovely meal out with the family, (Allans), at the park head, a lovely pub about a mile from our home.
I had chicken stips, with leaks and bacon in a stilton sauce.....and it was delicious!!!....followed by trifle.
Had a few red wines, just to aid digestion of course! To tell you the truth I didn't really want to go out, I really just wanted to stay at home, cook a meal, light a few candles....but I enjoyed it in the end, (like I usually do...being the party animal that I am inside!).
I am here now, catching up on emails and seeing what I have won on ebay, (usually salt & pepper pots that I like to collect!)......plum tomatoes tonight!!!
Al has got me a gin & tonic.....but being the good girl that I am....I might not drink it!....(but its after midnight & sometimes I'm not so good then).
As for that stupid calorie counter gadget, thingy, that I have just installed on my space, I don't even want to communicate with it....I will input my data on Tuesday, once I am back at work.

I've only had 1 cider and I've added the glass of wine that hubby is going to get for me and already I'm over my allowance for today.....does msn not want a girl to have fun?
Oh well, I'll start again tommorrow, no maybe Sunday....oh I forgot its bank holiday....I'll start Tuesday! Enjoy it while you can!This is the life!
Sitting in the garden with my laptop, listening to the sound of the running water from the pond! Best part is, I should have really been at work on back shift, (I'm famous at work for thinking up excuses to take back shift Fridays off, you have to be fast to beat me!).
Don't know whether to get barbeque fired up later, or just ring for a chinese!!....what a choice! Lovely weather!!Beautiful day again....about time!
I'm off work so it is even more fantastic!. We had a barbeque last night and will do the same tonight, (so hubby will be cooking)
Just waiting for hubby to finish work.....he now finishes at midday, so that is a big bonus. We will then go shopping for essentials like.....alcohol!, (you lot must think that's all I think about, not so, I'm a real good girl through the week, but I do like relaxing in the garden with a glass or too of wine and a nice meal at the weekend, doesn't everyone?
We haven't got any children, so we don't seem to have moved on from the way we were before we were married!....just having fun!....but that is good isn't it?
Anyway...must go and enjoy the sun!! 8月23日 Waiting for a delivery!Look at the weather today....its perfect!...I'm off work, perfect!
But what am I doing?? Waiting for a delivery, and they can't tell me what time the delivery will be....in this day and age! So on the only sunny day of the year, (I know I exagerate), I'm waiting in. I was hoping to go shopping for clothes for my holiday and now I can't!, (hubby smiled when I said that....wonder why?).
I'm sitting here getting madder by the minute, what a waste of a lovely day.
Still the front garden looks lovely, all neat and tidy.
I hope they are not going to be long.....I pity the poor delivery drivers if they don't come until 6.00pm....patience never was my strongest point! 8月21日 Bank Holiday!!Bank holiday....nearly!!!
Can't wait to finish work tomorrow for 5 days....of doing anything I like!!
Not planning on going anywhere much, we are going to Amsterdam next week for 4 days so we are really looking forward to that.

We may as well face facts...summer is over!!
Woke up thsi morning and thought "what can we do today?"....well, it has to be somewhere inside doesn't it. Where we live, there is not a lot of choice, and doing something inside means eating and shopping, (which is more or less what we do when it is sunny anyway!....apart from a glass or two of wine in the garden!!)
So shopping it was....not Harvey Nicks as I would like...only Wilkinson!...(couldn't be posh if I tried!)
Went in a lovely little cafe for lunch....(nothing too heavy coz Allan was making me a lovely meal at night....except he was watching a DVD and I had almost finished cooking by the time it had finished!)
But everthing is OK, X Factor has started again!......god it was a disappointment!
I have had a good clearout today....loads of old clothes etc........I need a good makeover!! All my old clothes seem to have shrunk!!, (must get a new washer)....for a minute I thought I had put on weight!!...
Tomorrow I think I'll have a lie in, then go somewhere nice for sunday dinner...(hope it isn't somewhere where you get a free glass of wine....when I'm trying to be good!)

8月17日 God, I'm stuffed....(with food!)I didn't think "wish I hadn't ate that" after the chinese, but maybe now after the crisps and cheese strips.....I do!
That is the downfall at the weekend....eating and eating!!! Hungry!!I am sooooo hungry, can't wait until my chinese meal comes!! Soup & prawn crackers, Lemon chicken, singapore fried rice ......
I could never be one of those size zeros.....don't really want to look that thin, (tho' every woman would like to be thinner), you need to balance things out!
I would be a really miserable size zero.....thin, but really, really hungry....and miserable!!
So for tonight, I am going to embrace my curves and enjoy my yummy chineee!!!
(later I will probably say "I wish I didn't eat that!)... but for now...enjoy!!!
xxx 8月11日 SaturdayMaybe my space isn't so bad after all! Thats me all over, putting myself down and lacking in confidence.....I need to stop that and believe that I am as capable and as interesting as anyone else!

 Weekend!!!Yes!! its the weekend!
God isn't it a sign of my age when you can't think of anything exciting to write! I know you can't party forever but....well, what can I write?
I'd like to tell you we are having a wild party, but actually, I have been on back shift, I came in to a nice glass of red wine, candles all lit around the house by hubby, (ahh, that sounds nice now I'm typing it), I'm sitting here downloading rainforest CD to add to all the video we have filmed of the birds in my garden.
God...when did we get so sensible!!
Think we'll have a lie in tomorrow, then go shopping, (my fav hobbie), probably for something exciting like....decking paint! We'll need to go for a meal somewhere nice, (tho' we should really cut down), then home to relax with a bottle of wine and maybe if I'm lucky...Hubby will cook!!
Sounds boring to you lot, (I suppose), but I love Saturdays..
P.S - I wasn't always so...boring!....but the main thing is I'm happy being that way!!
xxx 8月7日 Being...well....ordinary!You would wonder how someone could be so happy being...well, ordinary!...well I am!
I've had an ordinary day at work, didn't make anything out of the ordinary for tea, I'm sitting typing to you and then I'll look at my emails, then probably ebay, (I love to collect different things, nothing special, just ordinary stuff!)
Hubby is out cleaning the drive....(neighbours car is leaking oil).....hope hubby doesn't do anything out of the ordinary...like thump the neighbour in question!
Then I'll probably feed the fish, water my plants, then...I think I deserve a glass of wine!!
Wish I could make something exciting up to keep you all hanging on my every word....but as I've said...I've had an ordinary day............................
Having said all that, I love my life, (ordinary), who says you have to be special to be happy!
 I am going to see if I can get a photo of big boy eating sweetcorn off a spoon....like he does....then I will put it on myspace for you all to go ahhh!......(big boy is the biggest fish in my pond....just in case you were wondering!!!)
Suppose I'll best go and give hubby a hand to clean the drive.

The sound of running water and watching the fish swimming around is so relaxing after a hard day at work!!......
